The SMR-228F(G/T) box transformer intelligent monitoring device is equipped with analog quantity collection on the low-voltage side of the photovoltaic box transformer or the high and low voltage sides of the wind farm box transformer, non-electric protection, remote control, and communication functions. At the same time, this device can also integrate communication management machines, optical fiber switches, and is responsible for the data communication of devices such as inverters and intelligent combiner boxes within the power generation unit, achieving centralized transmission of communication information for intelligent devices belonging to the photovoltaic power generation system. It connects to the booster station's comprehensive self-system through a self-healing ring optical fiber Ethernet, thereby enabling remote management and automated monitoring of photovoltaic power generation units or wind farms by the booster station, meeting the operational management mode of comprehensive intelligence and "unmanned duty, minimal personnel supervision" for photovoltaic power plants and wind farms.

  • 1. Product Overview

    The SMR-228F(G/T) box transformer intelligent monitoring device is equipped with analog quantity collection, non-electric quantity protection, remote control, and communication functions for the low-voltage side of photovoltaic box transformers or the high and low voltage sides of wind farm box transformers. At the same time, this device can also integrate communication management machines, optical fiber switches, and data communication for devices such as inverters and intelligent combiner boxes within the power generation unit, achieving centralized transmission of communication information for intelligent devices belonging to the photovoltaic power generation system. It connects to the booster station's comprehensive automation system through a self-healing ring optical fiber Ethernet, thereby enabling remote management and automated monitoring of photovoltaic power generation units or wind farms, meeting the operational management mode of comprehensive intelligence and "unmanned duty, minimal personnel supervision" for photovoltaic power stations and wind farms.

    2. Product Features

    1) The reinforced unit chassis is designed to resist strong vibrations and strong interference, making it particularly suitable for harsh environments, and it is applicable in a wide temperature working environment of -40℃ to 70℃.

    2) All integrated circuits of the device are made from industrial or military-grade products, which gives the device high stability and reliability, meeting the operational requirements of photovoltaic power plants.

    3) The device collects the three-phase current, three-phase voltage, frequency, power factor, active power, and reactive power from two sets of low-voltage side transformers for telemetry in the comprehensive automation system.

    4) The device's settings are based on the protection function of electrical quantities, featuring three-stage current protection with composite voltage interlock, zero-sequence current, over-voltage, under-voltage, CT disconnection, PT disconnection, etc.

    5) The SMR-228F(G) device is equipped with 48 channels of switch quantity input functions, which can collect load switch positions, low-voltage circuit breaker position signals, low-voltage isolating switch fuse group position signals, small circuit breaker position signals, fuse blow signals, box transformer door switch signals, and other common switch quantity signals. It can also realize non-electric quantity protection such as heavy gas action tripping, light gas action alarm, abnormal SF6 gas pressure alarm, transformer high temperature alarm, transformer over-temperature tripping, and low transformer oil level, while providing 8 programmable backup non-electric quantity functions (4 channels for tripping, 4 channels for alarms) for easy non-electric quantity expansion.

    6) All protection functions of the device are set with control words, which can be easily enabled or disabled by entering a Password via the LCD.

    7) The device has two temperature and two electrical quantity (0-5V DC voltage or 4-20mA current) collection functions, which can be used to collect relevant temperatures of the box transformer, and it is equipped with a temperature over-limit alarm function for easy monitoring of the comprehensive automation system in photovoltaic power plants.

    8) The device is equipped with 6 outputs, facilitating the expansion of control functions for the box transformer. It can perform remote control operations for switches with electrical operation functions.

    9) The device uses a graphical LCD with full Chinese display, menu-style human-computer interaction, and can display various operating statuses and data in real-time, with detailed and intuitive information, making operation and debugging convenient.

    10) Large-capacity information recording: can save 16 recent historical reports, which can include action parameters and maintain data during power outages.

    11) The device structure is designed according to the requirements of box transformer switch cabinets, with a small Size, simple installation method, and convenient wiring.

    12) Integrating communication management machines, optical fiber switches, and comprehensive measurement and control protection functions, it can reduce the investment cost of measurement and control communication equipment in photovoltaic power plants by two-thirds.

    13) Provides 2 Ethernet ports, 2 optical fiber Ethernet ports, and 8 RS485 interfaces, ensuring communication reliability under long distances and harsh conditions; it has a rich built-in communication protocol library, good support for third-party systems and device protocols, and communication protocols supporting IEC60870-5-103/104, IEC61850, and Modbus, allowing easy access to power station monitoring systems, supporting specific communication service mapping (SCSM) of IEC61850-8-1, and enabling seamless integration with new intelligent booster substation systems.
