The SMR-DRE3 series power system dynamic recorder is mainly used to record voltage and current data during power system faults or abnormal operating conditions, as well as the operation sequence of related protection and safety automatic devices. It recreates the changes in electrical quantities during faults and abnormal operations, performs comprehensive analysis of fault recording data, and provides a basis for determining the cause of faults and correctly analyzing and evaluating the operation of protection and automatic devices. This device is mainly used in substations with voltage levels above 110KV, but can also be used in substations and power plants of other voltage levels.

  • Product Overview

    The SMR-DRE3 series power system dynamic recording device is mainly used to record voltage and current data for power system faults or abnormal conditions, as well as the operation sequence of related protection and safety automatic devices. It recreates the changes in electrical quantities during faults and abnormal operation, performs comprehensive analysis of fault waveform data, and provides a basis for determining the cause of faults and correctly analyzing and evaluating the operation of protection and automatic devices. This device is mainly used in substations above 110KV, but can also be used in substations and power plants of other levels.

    Product Features

    (1) It can collect 96 analog signals and 192 switch signals, supporting high-speed switch signal input.

    (2) Transient waveform recording function: When generator sets, lines, or transformers malfunction or under other triggered conditions, the transient waveform recording function can be activated.

    (3) When generator sets, lines, or transformers experience multiple consecutive large disturbances, the device can completely record the entire process of each large disturbance. The recorded data is faithful and reliable, accurately reflecting harmonics and aperiodic components.

    (4) Continuous steady-state function: It can continuously record with a sampling rate of 1KHZ, and continuously record voltage, current, active power, reactive power, frequency, and other electrical quantities from the moment the equipment is put into operation, starting non-fault recording.

    (5) Real-time monitoring function: When a fault occurs on a line, transformer, or generator set, the device can provide a brief fault information report to allow operation personnel to handle the fault promptly.

    (6) It can configure complete waveform recording trigger criteria and supports remote and manual waveform recording start.

    (7) Data output interface: USB data output interface, printer interface.

    (8) Communication function: Data transmission conforms to the IEC61850 modeling specification for power system dynamic recording devices described in DL/T553-2013 "General Technical Conditions for Power System Dynamic Recording Devices".

    (9) Data security management: Data security management ensures that the data recorded by the device will not be lost or damaged due to continuous multiple starts, power interruptions, human factors, or accidental factors.

    (10) The waveform recording file format conforms to the COMTRAED data model specification, and it has waveform recording file editing function. It can recombine the data in the waveform recording file according to customized channels to generate new waveform recording files that conform to the COMTRAED standard.

    (11) High-frequency channel signal recording function.

    (12) Supports per-file data recording method.

    (13) The device has complete data analysis capabilities.

    (14) NTP/IRIG-B time synchronization interface, time error less than 200 microseconds.
