When the system experiences ferroresonance, grounding, or overvoltage faults, it eliminates and records ferroresonance faults, and monitors and records single-phase grounding and overvoltage faults. Note: This device can only eliminate non-permanent ferroresonance faults induced by external causes; it cannot eliminate other PT overvoltages caused by persistent external factors.
